01 / HOW IT WORKS

A new way
to change your space.

01

Prepare & paint.

Start with a clean, dry surface in good condition. Test a small area first. Use Unpaint® Primer on porous surfaces or before applying deep colors.

02

Make it yours.

Apply two even coats with your chosen tool. Let the paint cure fully, then enjoy your new color. Follow the label for preparation and recoating times.

03

Change your mind. Peel.

Ready for your next idea? Lift an edge and peel slowly to remove the color. The paint comes away as a continuous film.

03 / GLASSTOMMER® TECHNOLOGY

Applied as paint.
Removed as a film.

Behind Unpaint® is Glasstommer®, the biodegradable, carbon-negative technology developed by Glasst. As the paint dries, it forms a flexible film that can later be peeled away by hand.

06 / BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Before you
pick a color.

01Where can I use Unpaint®?

Use Unpaint® on compatible interior walls and drywall, plywood, glass, metal, plastic or acrylic, concrete and other sealed surfaces. The existing finish must be sound. Avoid wallpaper, textiles and cracked or peeling paint; test a small area first.

02Do I need primer?

Use Unpaint® Primer on porous surfaces or with deep colors. It helps protect the existing finish and supports removal. Follow the preparation instructions for your surface.

03How long should I let it dry?

Allow about 4 hours to dry and 24 hours to fully cure. Follow the label for recoating times; coating thickness and conditions affect drying.

04How long can I leave it on?

Unpaint® is designed to peel off up to one year after application when used correctly. Plan removal within that period and follow the instructions for your surface and product.

05How do I remove it?

Lift an edge and pull slowly, folding the film back over itself. Correct surface preparation and the recommended coating thickness help it come away cleanly.
