The formwork.
The material, cleanliness and condition of the surface that will contact the concrete.
The technical data sheets for all four references list brush and roller as application tools. Spraying appears on the MAX and 3X1 labels.
Release agents create a non-stick film on the contact face of the formwork. Their function is to prevent concrete from sticking and make separation easier.
GlasstMould® is the materials technology developed by Glasst behind this line: it keeps concrete from bonding to the formwork. MAX and 3X1 additionally declare, in their technical data sheets, a moisture barrier that supports concrete curing. The reference is chosen according to the formwork, the pour cycle and the exposure conditions.

SUPREME applied to metal formwork · Application visualization.
Clean, dry and free of dust, oil, old concrete and release-agent residue from previous applications. On metal formwork, remove rust. Before applying, dry the surface and remove any excess water.
SUPREME and ADVANCE: non-gravitational; do not mix with water.
MAX: ready-to-use water-based emulsion.
3X1: mixed on site, up to 3 parts water to 1 part product.
Cover the contact face with an even coat, avoiding excess that creates waste. On wood formwork, apply an additional coat to cover the pores. Clean the tools for later use.
All four available technical data sheets state that finishes must not be applied until 28 days after stripping the formwork. Read your product’s data sheet and confirm concrete preparation with the technical team.
Start with these differences. Coverage and results depend on the surface and application.
